“I like to create.” Says Sylvia with a laugh, “I love sitting down at my bench and digging my fingers through the pile of sparkling little stones. I enjoy the tactile nature of the work- twisting and wrapping, hammering and filing, cool metal with warm stones. I’ve begun experiments in etching and enamel- it is heavenly. Using different textures and colors to create jewelry is my form of relaxation. And that people enjoy it and wear it is the icing on the cake.”
